All Mottahedeh crystal is full lead crystal that has been copper wheeled. It is beautifully cut at the esteemed Varga Manufactory in Hungary, to complement signature dinnerware patterns. The etchings are individually created using a diamond point engraver. Tobacco Leaf, one of the most prized of Chinese Export patterns, was developed circa 1780. The joyous exuberance of the Tobacco Leaf pattern is undiminished by time. Tobacco Leaf is an authorized reproduction for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
