How to increase memory in REAL mode

--- Hello friends, I like Abandonwares many games. Most work quietly, when I click on them within Windows. However, some games do not work indicating that there is insufficient memory. I know it's the old question of how real X protected mode, real mode where the processor recognizes only 1 Mb of memory. Is there any way to free up more memory or some software or configuration to do this within Windows itself Or my only alternative would be to boot the PC Dos mode --- Properties by clicking on the shortcut you want to run the program, there is a folder for the memory configurations. For there you can configure the amount of conventional memory, extended, protected necessary to implement the program.
