The provider of IT services Softtek Mexico is investing $ 6 million to build its third Center for Global Service Delivery (GDC). The project will be built in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and will generate 900 new jobs for professionals with college degrees and technical information technology industry.
This is the second CGD Softtek Mexico. The other works in Brazil. The new space is to increase the company's ability to deliver IT solutions gabais.
"Aguascalientes is the most important development center within the company, where we have over 1600 active employees today," says Ricardo Rodríguez Contrera, general director of Physical Infrastructure of Softtek. His expectation with the installation of the center is to increase business by 50%.
Softtek began operations in Aguascalientes in 2003. The new facilities are being built on a plot of 19,500 meters and will have 13 sections devoted to software development, two training rooms, two warehouses and business services area.

In the first quarter of this year, Softtek Brazil also announced the expansion of its Center for Global Service Delivery, located in Sao Paulo. According to the company, the investment has yielded a 30% increase in capacity and intends to expand by more than 30% over the next two years.
The aim of the movement in Brazil is to use the framework to develop products and services in the country and then replicate them in other subsidiaries of the company. The expansion of the Sao Paulo GDC also boosts the hiring of 300 professionals by 2013, of which 100 are already incorporated in the operation.
