UP FOR BID: AN OLD ASTATIC GOLDEN EAGLE MICROPHONE. I AM NOT SURE ON THE EXACT MODEL. ON THE WIRING DIAGARM THERE IS A STAMP WITH 7-77 ON IT. THAT MIGHT BE THE YEAR IT WAS MADE. I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS MICROPHONE. IT MEASURES 12" TALL, THE BASE IS 5-1/2" IN DIAMETER. IN GOOD USED CONDITION, YOU WILL FIND VERY FINE SCRATCHES AND SOME LOSS OF GOLD PLATE WHERE IT WAS BEING HELD WHILE TALKING. THE FELT IS WORN AND THERE IS A PIECE OF TAPE INDICATING HIGH AND LOW GAIN. THE COLLAR THAT HOLDS DOWN THE KEY FOR BROADCASTING IS HARD TO SLIDE UP, IT WILL PROBABLY NEED NEW FELT ON IT. THE SMALL NAME PLATE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE IS MISSING. AFTER REMOVING THE BASE, TO MAKE SURE THERE WASN'T AN OLD BATTERY IN IT (THERE WAS NO BATTERY), I NOTICED IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY HAVE HAD SOME REWIRING AT SOME POINT. I RECEIVED THIS MICROPHONE FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, WHO HAD THE END PLUG REWIRED TO MATCH HIS CRAIG L231 TRANSCEIVER. THE PLUG HAS 5 PRONGS. THIS MICROPHONE HAS NOT BEEN TESTED. ANY QUESTIONS YO
U MAY HAVE, PLEASE ASK. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING, mattsironstuff......................
